Boerderij Spanjer is a farm located in the middle of the island of Terschelling, the Netherlands. It is the ecological company of Cees and Margriet Spanjer. On this farm, Aberdeen Angus beef cattle breeding is combined with meadow bird management. The straw-rich manure obtained in the winter is left to compost for a year and is spread over the land in the following spring, which is good for soil life and therefore attractive to birds.

The calves on the farm are nursed by their mother and walk with the herd in the meadow. Young stock is shoved on the Groede, an age-old scissor meadow on the Boschplaat, an ideal meadow for the development of this breed of cows. There are also holiday apartments on the Spanjer farm.
